We had a chance to sit down with our girl Shannae Ingleton of the fabulously chic Women's Social Network and Lifestyle Marketing Company “What Women Want”. Shannae gave us the low down on how she keeps her sexy yet sultry tresses in check.
BHC: How has life been treating you?
Shannae: Life has been great! I can't complain, since our last signature Shopping Event, we ventured into new territory and it was all very well received. We did a Book Club Dinner Party Event for the first time (Literary Journey), we did a Spa Event (YOU Day at Hammam Spa) and both events sold out completely well in advance of the event dates. Planning is currently underway for our annual "Wine & Dine in a Dress" Event taking place on June 28th and it looks like its going to be another sold out event! I couldn't be happier.
BHC: What is your hair care regiment?
Shannae: I wear a full head of weave that is braided in with my own hair left out at the top. The brand of Hair extensions that I use is Bohyme Soft Wave (Remy Hair). I wash once a week and every night I put my hair in one long braid and I wear a head wrap to bead. I use a salon grade flat iron to straighten my hair after washing.
BHC: What hair products do you love?
Shannae: On a daily basis, I moisturize using got2b smoothing satin drops for sheen and conditioning and on a weekly basis I wash and style with Pantene Pro V's line of products for Relaxed and Natural Hair. Specifically, the Intensive Moisturizing Shampoo, the Intensive Moisturizing Conditioner and the Light Conditioning Spray. Their products work great, smell great and have an even better price point!

BHC: How would you describe your hair?
Shannae: As I said earlier, I wear a weave and the thing that I love the most about it is that it is low maintenance! I just touch up the front on a daily basis with a flat iron and I am good to go! And Bohyme Soft Wave is the best! It has a nice loose wave to it, so you don't have to curl it every day, but for the days when you do want to curl it, it straightens very easily and you would never know that it ever had a waive!
BHC: Who styles your hair?
Shannae: I get my hair done by Buster Berkeley at Amorphous Hair Salon in Toronto.
Your worst hair experience?
Shannae: I removed my hair extensions on my own (big mistake) and after removing the hair extensions, I proceded to wash my hair without combing it out first. Lets just say that I spent the next day getting out the biggest knots that both me and my hair dresser have ever seen.
BHC: Do you have any hair advice for our readers ?
Shannae: Wrap your hair every night! Even though it can be annoying at times, it makes a World of difference!!♥
